Tiger Den 2, lead by Bill Mahoney and Scott Linton, visited the Shrewsbury Home Depot last weekend, and had a great time learning about different types of tools and putting things together. They also got neat Home Depot tool aprons – check out the great jobs they did assembling their items!

The kids from the Bear Den visited the Grafton Police Department on Friday, and were taken on a tour by Officer Rybak. They saw the dispatch office, got fingerprinted, and heard the loud sirens that the police vehicles can make. They also got to try out the police baton, and a few kids were even handcuffed! It was a great tour, and all the kids agreed that they definitely did NOT want to spend any time in the jail cells! We gave Officer Rybak a bag of popcorn for taking the time to show us around – it was a great visit!

We had another great day of selling popcorn on Saturday at Stop & Shop, selling over 175 units of popcorn! We actually ran out of Caramel Corn and Popping Kernels before 3 pm! A big thanks to Mrs. Pope for bringing more popcorn to the store. Total sales and donations for the day came to just over $2600. We are definitely heading into record-breaking territory again this year! Way to go!
Thank you to all the Scouts who came on Saturday to support their Dens and the Pack. If you have not turned in your order forms to your Den leaders, yet, please do so ASAP. Jennifer Rodrique must place the total order for the Pack by November 8th.
We’ll announce the names of the top-selling Scouts and Den at the November Pack Meeting. It’s going to be a close finish!!
