The Pack had an absolute blast at our Museum of Science visit earlier this month. The kids got a chance to see a ton of cool exhibits, and also learn about some very cool topics like weather, dinosaurs, and astronomy. Some of the boys participating in the STEM program got a special visit from a MoS employee who was an engineer, who talked about the design process. The boys then were able to build some “cars” to race against each other. There was also a neat “boat-building” exercise, in which kids assembled crafts from aluminum foil and clay – and then got to sink them!
We had a fantastic time in the “lightning hall” too! This video was from one of the coolest parts!
The Pack slept in the dinosaur hall, and there were some parts of the night where it sounded like real dinosaurs had come to life! It might have been some dads snoring, though.
All told, it was a great trip!
